Success is not absolute. But neither is failure - is the motto for our semimonthly event where Portuguese entrepreneurs will be sharing their experiences with failing in business and learning from it.
The event was born in Mexico 3 years ago out of a need to analyse the factors behind failure and share the lessons learned. The objective of FuckUp Nights is to contribute to a new corporative culture based on acceptance of the fact that failure is a necessary and unavoidable part of the entrepreneurial journey.
The first edition of FuckUp Nights Events will take place in Lisbon in May 2016, during the Week Of Entrepreneurship organised by Câmara Municipal de Lisboa (Municipal Lisbon Chamber). The events are organised by Sofia Ferreira Simões from Smart Launch and Miguel Muñoz from iMatch, with the support of Miguel Cordeiro from Empreendedor, Nova SBE, where events will take place and Mário Pires from Alves & Pires that will be responsible for the event coverage.
The first event will have the participation of 3-4 Guest Speakers, who will be telling the stories of what what went wrong in their entrepreneurial experience, what they learned and what they would do differently now in the same situation. They will speak about the alarm signals they identified on the way and also give accounts about the funny moments they encountered.
The audience will be invited to participate actively and ask questions at the end of the event and there will be time for networking as well.

Nem o sucesso é definitivo nem o fracasso é fatal - é o mote para um evento bimensal onde empreendedores portugueses vêm partilhar as suas experiências de fracasso e aprendizagens.
O evento nasceu no México há três anos para divulgar e analisar as razões por trás do fracasso e com a intenção de fazer da partilha uma aprendizagem. O objectivo do FuckUp Nights é contribuir para uma nova cultura corporativa baseada na aceitação de que o fracasso é necessário e inseparável da aventura empresarial.
FuckUp Nights chega a Lisboa em Maio de 2016, em plena Semana do Empreendedorismo organizada pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, pela mão de Sofia Ferreira Simões da Smart Launch e do Miguel Muñoz da iMatch com o apoio do Miguel Cordeiro do Empreendedor, da Nova SBE em cujas instalações decorrerá e do Mário Pires da Alves & Pires, responsável pela cobertura do evento.
O evento conta com a presença de 3 a 4 oradores, que contam em poucos minutos o que correu mal, o que aprenderam e o que fariam de diferente hoje identificando o contexto, sinais de alerta e as situações mais engraçadas que viveram na altura.
A audiência é convidada a participar e colocar perguntar e no final do evento haverá espaço para convivio e networking.
