Innovative App Developer
Who can participate?
Young people aged between 18 - 35 years old who are interested in coding and mobile app development.
If you believe you can demonstrate:
- a basic understanding of coding;
- have a creative idea for a mobile app;
- creative ideas and the ability to implement them;
- entrepreneurial skills.
Submission steps:
- Build a prototype and get the chance to win a scholarship at The App Academy in Amsterdam! The Scholarship entitles you to join the coding bootcamp in January 2017 and teaches you how to build your own app in 12 weeks.
- You're free in how you want to demo your prototype. So start sketching, drawing, coding, videotaping, keynoting or photoshopping and don't forget to describe your concept step by step.
- Upload you app concept in your site/blog, or send it to us through WeTransfer.
- Submit your nomination by completing the submission form here below.
Deadline for submission of entries is 31 August 2016.
N.B. The competition is open to young people from any EU member state.
Awards:
- The winner will be selected by a jury of professional app developers.
- The scholarship is kindly provided by The App Academy in Amsterdam.
- A coding bootcamp is a full-time app development training of 12 weeks, from Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00h.
- During the bootcamp you will learn how to develop your mobile app in Apple’s programming language Swift.
- The scholarship for the app development bootcamp at The App Academy is worth €12.500.
- The bootcamp takes place in Amsterdam from January to March 2017.
- Accomodation is not provided during the bootcamp.
- The runner-up will receive a tablet.
