So, it’s official, it’s out there, and there's no hiding it: Beta-i just merged with another innovation player. What’s different then? Not that much… We retain the Beta-i brand, we are growing and we are now a true one-stop-shop for innovation, built around 6 different areas: Acceleration, Events, Consulting, Open Innovation, Education and Investment.  Beta-i’s brand will remain focused on 'Building the Innovation Ecosystem’, leading the transformation of a new culture of humanized digital innovation. That is why we are pushing the envelope in so many fronts. One of those is Education, with the Global Impact Challenge initiative (from Singularity University, to be staged in Cascais) entering it’s final stage. Programs like this, or the  Free Electrons (a truly global startup acceleration program, in several different geographies) are one of the reasons we needed to grow. Going global is not without it’s costs! Another big reason would be #LIS (Lisbon Investment Summit). Last December, we made the decision to spend as much time as we could talking to past attendees, speakers and investors to get a clear feeling of what #LIS meant for them. We then went back to the drawing board and re-imagined the experiences we would provide in 2018 edition.   Because the only way we can drive change and help build a ecosystem is if we are also ready to (re)build ourselves in the process...
