September marked the official opening of the new big business and community centre for tech and hardware companies in Tartu, SPARK Tartu. Hundreds of people turned up for the party to celebrate this joyus occasion - see a sneak peek of the opening over here. If you have the chance, we strongly recommend to go and check out the new hub yourselves! Photo: Aadi Tegova

#autumnkickoff
In September, scientific collaboration startup Guaana was picked
for the Dubai Future Accelerator as the only team from the Northern
Europe and together with companies such as Hyperloop One; accountancy
startup tsekk.ee raised a €60k seed round; Sorry as a Service, a customer retention solution that's bringing back the personal touch, raised £120k; Weps, the artificial intelligence chatbot website builder that works on any device, was accepted into the Axel Springer Plug and Play accelerator in Berlin.
As autumn is definitely a high season for tech conference in Europe, we
hope that you too are getting ready to attend some international
conferences this autumn. We at Startup Estonia have made our picks and
will be out at Slush and Web Summit - if you happen to be there, make sure to swing by our booth and stay tuned for more information!
We also have a cool offer for you if you're feeling like doing something
fun and rewarding for the awesome Estonian entrepreneurial community -
come and join us in organising Startup Week from 14th-20th November. All interested startups and fun, active people, do let us know about your interest over here!
On another note, dear Estonian startup founders, help us help you! Give
us 15 minutes of your time and participate in the freshly launched Startup Genome’s research
for the 2016 Global Startup Ecosystem Report and help us find out how
to better accelerate the growth and success of our startup community -
every reply matters a lot and all contributions are very appreciated!
Have a great October and keep up with being awesome! :)
