4th Edition Programa de Aceleração inRes - Entrepreneurship in Residence

inRes is a very early stage acceleration program for Portuguese entrepreneurial teams building new business ventures based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Offered by the CMU Portugal Program, which is funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, inRes provides a training period in Portugal, followed by a two-month structured immersion period in Pittsburgh, in the U.S., anchored at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).

This program will push the teams past their comfort zones, require them to work at a steep pace and cope with high levels of uncertainty. Underlying this is a constant outreach for contacts to further build and validate their business projects.

Building on the Lean LaunchPad method, inRes will provide a training period in Portugal, followed by a seven-week structured immersion period in the U.S.A., anchored at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) campuses in Pittsburgh and Silicon Valley.

The participating teams will benefit from the exposure to a highly dense environment of world-leading research groups, and market and industry specialists, in a variety of high-tech areas.
