month of investments
This month we've seen quite notable in terms of investments to Estonian startups. Leading the way is Taxify, with a massive $175M investment led by Daimler at a $1B valuation and thus becoming the fourth unicorn out of Estonia. Taxify will use the capital to develop its technology and make further expansions in Europe and Africa. Secondly, Pipedrive raised a $50M Series co-led by new investor Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Also, self-driving robot delivery startup Starship Technologies raised $25M. With the help of the investment and a new CEO, former Airbnb business development lead Lex Bayer, Starship Technologies is ready to start deploying their network of robots at scale. Amoung others, Veriff raised $7.7M Series A, LIFT99 raised $2.3M to develop a skillsharing platform for founders, Dashbird raised $800K to solve serverless observability problem and eAgronom raised €500K from 50 of their customers (!).
Wonder what this month brings? We've been hearing that there will be more funding news soon...
