Startup Estonia is happy to present the overview of the year 2017 in Estonian startup scene, including the statistics about biggest employers, investments and exits, taxes paid, turnovers and much more.

This month we'd like to share some community announcements. STARTERcreative is a business idea development program, hosted by 5 Estonian universities. The 3-month program will help you with all the basic entrepreneurship skills and starts on the 20th of February; Refresh Conference 2018 is looking for volunteers and has a call for papers to speak at the conference. Hurry, the applications are opened until 18th of February; European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Estonia is looking for innovative ideas based on space-related technology. You can apply for the incubation programme until 8th of March; Prototron is giving away up to 35 000€ for prototyping ideas, gadgets and inventions that would make our daily lives better. You can apply until 15th of March.

We hosted our first ever Foreign Founders in Estonia meetup, with some 50 founders sharing their stories and making it a successful start of building a community. Check out the video coverage of the event.
