Last week was the Global Goals Week 2018 bringing together governments, businesses, individuals, international organizations and civil society to drive progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).

The United Nations Office in Geneva acknowledges Impact Hub as a driver of community engagement to mobilize people worldwide to help reach theSDGs via entrepreneurial and innovative solutions by 2030.

Our Impact Hub Network uses the SDGs as a lens through which to view itsimpact on the world and cities. In Lisbon, your local community of Impact Makers is also contributing to the SDGs.

“Hi Impact Makers!

As you might know launching startups is a challenging journey: 90% of them actually fail. This is the reason why I founded Idea Ninja. Our mission is to empower and support entrepreneurs and startups by giving them the tools and skill set required to enable them to sustain and grow their initiative.

To achieve that, we provide training, capacity building / acceleration programs and mentorship. Last but not least, we also offer access to an online toolbox platform with tutorials covering all the areas an entrepreneur needs to master.

Throughout this 3-month capacity building program, elaborated by Ageas Foundation and Impact Hub Lisbon, the participants have been strengtheningand developing soft & hard skills in order to reintegrate the labor market. They will present their reinsertion projects on the 17th of October!
