Hey y'all!
February has been quite the month for Startup Estonia! First, we published overviews of the record-breaking year of 2018 of our startup sector and the overview of our startup support organisations. We also went to Tokyo, where we hosted a Japan-Estonia startup meetup for 100+ people interested in Estonia, had a lot of meetings & visited SLUSH Tokyo. Two new amazing people started in our team this month - Moonika Mällo as the Startup Sector Monitoring Project Manager and Liisi Org as the Startup Community Development Manager and we are actively looking for one more colleague to be leading the startup ecosystem development in Ida-Viru County. Exciting times!
We are also more than happy to share some updates from our community. European Space Agency's Business Incubation Centre is open for applications for startups to join their programme until 7th of March; Storytek, accelerator for #futureofcontent startups and storytellers is also accepting applications until 7th of March; Nordic Angel Program by Estonian Business Angels Network is looking for regional startups (Nordic+Baltic) to apply for an investment of up to €250 000, until 4th of March. FinanceEstonia Forum 2019 is focusing on the future of finance and is inviting all of our newsletter readers to join the event with 25% off the ticket price. Use the code: startupestonia.
