Our newsletter is back from the summer break & so is the whole startup ecosystem. As our startup sector keeps growing really fast, a lot of great initiatives & events are in store for this autumn.
First - we are happy to bring you funding news from our startups. Ridesharing, scooter and food delivery company Bolt raised €60M to support their recent launch in London and further expansion plans in 2019; Autonomous delivery robots developer Starship Technologies added $40M to their A round to rapidly expand its services to more university campuses; Xolo (formerly known as LeapIN), the online platform for launching and running one-person businesses anywhere in the world has announced the completion €6m Series A funding & Fractory, a platform focusing on sheet metal production services, has raised a 7-figure sum.
In other news: Startup Week Tallinn is back! in 2019 the startup community festival will be held on 11-15th of November. This year, we are putting more focus on future founders, greentech and technical topics. Join the week by hosting your own event - we have an open call until 6th of September. Also, we are looking for volunteers to join our community-driven team.
