Startups vs Disabilities: Did you know that around 120 million people in the EU are living with some degree of disability?

Startups vs Poverty: Also, you probably heard before that over 1.3 billion people are living in extreme poverty, right? Earlier this month we introduced you to 5 promising European startups tackling the effects of poverty.

EU-Startups Summit: Speaking about social impact - the latest highlight we announced for the upcoming EU-Startups Summit is that Founders Pledge CEO David Goldberg will join us as a speaker. Pitch Competition: We recently launched the application phase for our big pitch competition, which finals will be held at our upcoming EU-Startups Summit (May 28-29, Barcelona), and we're excited that we already received over 220 great applications! More info and a link for the application form can be found here.

Startups to watch: In the beginning of this year, the EU-Startups team is having a closer look at many of Europe's leading startup ecosystems to introduce you to some of the most promising startups to watch in 2020.
