Sinba
Pipo Reiser, Co-Founder and CEO
ABOUT:
Sinba is a Peruvian social company and Certified B Corporation, founded in late 2016, that seeks to give a new meaning to waste, transforming it into something with positive social and environmental impact. It proposes a circular economy model that includes 100% of organic waste, which is converted into animal feed and compost, as well as recyclable inorganic waste, which is recovered in alliance with associations of recyclers.

In this way, Sinba manages to reduce by up to 95% the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. It does so for registered companies, mainly from the food and beverage sector, for industries, educational institutions, and shopping centers that seek to manage their waste in a more sustainable way. Sinba has achieved a reduction of more than 1,800 tons of CO2 to date.

Additionally, Sinba has produced more than 650 tons of pig feed, which has been distributed to some 15 urban pig farms in Lima.
Sinba was last year's winner of the Innovate4Climate Pitch Hub competition, and thanks to the support of the program, it has been able to scale its model to generate more impact.
