Welcome to the March issue of "DEEP Newsletter for Ecosystem Builders”, a monthly roundup of trends on startup ecosystems, insights from innovation leaders, and cross-cutting data points to keep you informed and help build your innovation ecosystems. Below you will find new funding calls, interesting reads, job opportunities, event highlights, and of course news from the DEEP community.   First, we would like to talk about health – ecosystem health. We are currently embarking on a global workshop series to meet with local startup ecosystem builders.

Healthy ecosystems around the world: Join one of our webinars

Using our Ecosystem Health Check open tool and methodology, the workshops empower the participants to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their ecosystems. It enables them to build smarter, data-based strategies for the development of their ecosystems and take effective action. We have joined forces with Swisscontact to develop the free and self-serving toolkit for ecosystem builders, incubators, and policy makers through the process of asking the right questions to see the progress of their startup scene and develop well-grounded measures to achieve systemic growth. Alumni spotlights: Ecuador-based CorpoAmbato led by our alumna Ruth Bolaños collaborated with Canada to train and support 40 local women entrepreneurs over six months. Here are impressions of the recent award ceremony. Listen to Cyril Okoroigwe (CEO of Lagos-based RegTech Africa) as a keynote speaker at the Singapore-based 2022 RegTech Innovation Summit on 8 June. He will talk about RegTech 3.0 and its importance for collaboration between the private and public sectors.
