Merry December! Well, after searching the globe for nearly five months we've got ourselves our Better Life App Challenge winners! The pitches were strong, the competition fierce, but only three could walk away with rewards. See how the night unfolded via Storify here!   1st Winner Psonríe 2nd Winner DAYSK 3rd Winner Kiwi Campus Congrats to everyone, specially to Psonrie!     A big thanks to our media partners!  Now time to recap on a very busy 2016, a year full to the brim with talented developers. We've had: - 10 Appcircus events take place, half of which were held in exciting new cities. - the second Smart City Hack including SmartCAT challenge and Apps Para Todos - finally there was the Better LIfe App Challenge which sought to improve the lives of users everywhere. None of this would of been possible without you fantastic people. An incredible 653 developers from around the world submitted their apps not to mention the support we received from various media partners and sponsors. Thank You! APPCIRCUS - Better Life App Challenge - international call for developers by softonic

We’re happy to announce the ‘Better Life App Challenge’, an international call for developers who’ve got the best answers to eight pressing issues facing users today. The program is open to App Makers worldwide. You can join the incubation phase with an idea, a prototype or an existing app. Our mentors will help you move your project to the next level!  The best apps with the most innovative solutions will be selected to participate in a final where cash prizes worth 10K US as well as money-can’t-buy visibility will be given out at the challenge's end.
