Microsoft Portugal presents this unique event “Do It, Girls!” handled in Portuguese, (April, 28) based on the international campaign #MAKEWHATSNEXT, that allows female universities to get in touch with this industry and its successful cases, to learn from workshops, but also, the opportunity to contact with Microsoft professionals in a mentoring environment in order to have career advices, as well as identification opportunity of potential profiles for future recruitments.
Why this event?
In 2015, the World Economic Forum has estimated that the gender gap in the technology industry will not end by 2133. Microsoft is dedicated to change this trend and therefore, it has lead a corporate and international campaign #MAKEWHATSNEXT which will culminate in the event that takes place across Europe on 28th April, in Portugal, the name is “Do IT, Girls!”.
